| I seek balance, harmony and calm in my paintings, a resting place in our complex world full of tension. My work explores both the intensity and the subtlety of extreme light conditions, seeking to capture the ambience, mystery and radiance of those extremes. Rich color also plays an intrinsic role in the emotional value and mood of each painting. The result is work that is luminous, serene and introspective, a place of quiet well being. |
